Multi-user subscriptions

Multi-user subscriptions are by far the most cost effective way for a corporation/organisation to subscribe to GSN and ensure that all relevant staff have access to GSN’s high quality news and analysis of the Gulf.

For small teams of up to five users, we recommend a standard Internet subscription, with additional sets of log-in details available at £140 per additional user. Please contact us for a full quote.

Internet licences

A licence provides corporation/organisation-wide access to GSN’s online archives and resources, and each new PDF issue of GSN sent directly to nominated staff email addresses.

Access

Archive access is granted through corporate/organisation gateway IP addresses. This means all staff at the subscribing company or organisation can access GSN’s online resources.

Pricing rationale

We provide Internet licences based on the number of staff who are likely to want access to our archives (rather than total number of staff in a company or organisation).

Price examples:
Based on 10 users: £2,155
Based on up to 20 users: £3,190

Prices are indicative and subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Academic/not-for-profit sector subscription

We have created a special subscription package that allows academic institutions and NGOs to subscribe to GSN and receive all the benefits of an Internet licence at a fraction of the cost. The package includes institution-wide archive access, and the PDF version emailed to nominated staff and student email addresses. Price (subject to VAT at the prevailing rate): £890. Read the terms and conditions. To apply, please contact Lauren Andrews on the details below.

If you want to look at samples of the content before ordering, including a downloadable PDF of a recent issue, please check out our Samples area of our archive.

Progress in Hodeidah but warnings of trouble elsewhere in Yemen

In United Nations-backed talks in Hodeidah in mid-February, a detailed programme of action was agreed to implement a Houthi withdrawal from the port city – the first of the three areas of agreement at the Stockholm peace conference in December. The plan should allow a resumption of humanitarian operations at the port under UN supervision – a critical step if the famine sweeping Yemen is to be tackled – but progress remains painfully slow and Hodeidah remains just one part of a complex arena.
