Abu Dhabi takes control at Dubai’s Arabtec

Troubled Dubai-based construction firm Arabtec has appointed a figure from Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company as its chief. Mubadala deputy group chief executive Waleed Al- Muhairi was named as the new chairman on 5 July, in a statement issued via the Dubai Financial Market, where Arabtec’s shares are traded.
