Bahrain: Expanded lobbying contract for BGR

Bahrain’s embassy in the US has renewed for another year its lobbying contract with BGR Government Affairs. Under the latest, expanded contract, running to 31 May 2021 – filed with the US Department of Justice under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, BGR will conduct strategic public relations, as well as government relations support, for a fee of $65,000/month, plus travel and other expenses (to be invoiced separately). The contract was signed on 20 May by ambassador Sheikh Abdullah Bin Rashid Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa and BGR Group chairman Ed Rogers.
