Bahrain/UAE cultural project underlines warming ties

The UAE and Bahrain have collaborated on a new cultural project to emphasise their bilateral ties. The Green Corner project will focus on preserving and restoring paintings and documents; it is housed at Bahrain’s Sheikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research. UAE culture and youth minister Noura Bint Mohammed Al-Kaabi led the Emirati delegation to a late January opening ceremony, when she remarked: “The UAE and Bahrain are bound by time-honoured ties, where the kingdom lies in the heart of every Emirati”.
