Fahd Al-Saud: Disney extravaganza

Prince Fahd Al-Saud received extensive press coverage for celebrating his graduation with a €15m ($19.6m) spending spree at Disneyland Paris. According to French news agency AFP, the prince booked entire areas of the park for three days from 22 May, and invited around 60 or 70 guests. His extravagant festivities – which suggest he must come from a particularly wealthy branch of the family – included tailor-made events involving “rare Disney characters”, Disneyland Paris – which described the prince as one of the park’s top customers – said.
