Iran: Speculation continues about content of Chinese pact

Issue 1124 - 22 Apr 2021

 The content of the long-awaited Strategic Partnership Pact signed between China and Iran in Tehran on 27 March by the two respective foreign ministers, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Wang Yi, remains unpublished. That absence of confirmed details has created room for a wide range of speculation about what the two countries have signed up to.
