Netanyahu’s on-off visit to the UAE

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly planning to travel to the UAE on 18 March, following an aborted visit a week earlier – the fourth time such a trip was postponed at the last minute. An 11 March statement from Netanyahu’s office blamed a disagreement with neighbouring Jordan, saying there had been “difficulties in co-ordinating his flight in Jordanian airspace”.
