The UK is to invest a further £23.8m ($30.7m) in its logistics hub at Duqm port, thereby tripling the size of the facility. The announcement was made by secretary of state for defence Ben Wallace during a trip to Oman in September.The UK base at Duqm is used to support Royal Navy deployments in the Indian Ocean.
