Saudi Arabia: Hessa Bint Salman’s social responsibility role

Princess Hessa Bint Salman, King Salman’s only daughter, was appointed honorary chair of the Social Responsibility Association in June. Board director Saud Alsubayee said the appointment reflected Hessa’s belief in the importance of the non-profit sector to match the social aspirations at the heart of the Vision 2030 economic reform programme. Hessa was also in the news in May for financially supporting Ikhaa, a charity for orphans.
