Trump lifts aluminium tariffs in parting gift to the UAE

Outgoing US President Donald Trump lifted a 10% tariff on aluminium imports from the UAE on 20 January, shortly before his successor Joe Biden took the oath of office. The tariff was imposed on all countries other than Canada and Mexico in March 2018. Argentina and Australia have been given waivers since then.
