Further doubts raised over MBS reforms

The summer months have been filled with persistent speculation that King Salman Bin Abdelaziz is preparing to step down in favour of his high-flying son Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS). This is despite signs of MBS’s much-vaunted reform programme faltering, concerns over the Al-Salman concentrating too much power in their hands, and questions about Riyadh’s role in regional conflicts.
