Iraq: IAF buys two armed Cessna aircraft

Ahead of its latest campaign against Islamic State, the Iraqi Air Force has secured US State Department approval to buy two Cessna AC-208 aircraft with Hellfire missile launcher capability, plus related training and support. The $65.3m deal’s approval was announced on 7 October.
