Qatar: End to exit permits for migrants

The requirement for migrant employees to have exit permits in order to leave Qatar has been stopped as of 28 October, following an amendment to Law No.21 of 2015 on the Entry, Exit and Residency of Expatriates.If an expat is stopped from leaving the country for any reason, they can take their case to an Expatriate Exit Grievance Committee, which is meant to resolve any issues within three working days.
