Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani travelled to Jeddah on 10 May, in the strongest sign yet of the improved relations between Riyadh and Doha following the ending of the boycott of Qatar in January. Saudi foreign minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan had extended an invitation to the emir when he visited Doha in April.
