A Saudi-Omani meeting billed as a high-level discussion on border issues was held in Riyadh on 12 February, involving delegations headed by interior ministers Oman’s Sayyid Hamoud Bin Faisal Al-Busaidi and Saudi Prince Abdelaziz Bin Saud Bin Nayef. The Omani minister later met King Salman Bin Abdelaziz.heading the respective.Such discussions at senior level are unusual. The composition of the Omani delegation – which included interior and foreign ministry staff, assistant inspector general of police and customs Major General Hamad Bin Suleiman Al-Hatmi.
