UAE/Dubai: Haya Bint Al-Hussein seeks asylum in Europe

Princess Haya Bint Al-Hussein, one of the wives of Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR), has reportedly fled the UAE with their two children – Zayed, aged 7 and Jalila, aged 11 – to seek sanctuary in Europe, first in Germany and subsequently in the UK. Haya, a daughter of the late King Hussein snd sister of the current Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II, married MBR in 2004. There have been suggestions the relationship has been troubled for some time.
