Born in 1970, Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulrahman was appointed head of the Emiri Diwan in October 2020, replacing long-standing chief Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa (who was appointed prime minister and interior minister). Sheikh Saud had been assistant head since September 2019.

Qatar: Abdelaziz Bin Abdulrahman's Al-Quds Fund and Endowment position

Sheikh Abdelaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani has been named chairman of the Al-Quds Fund and Endowment’s board of trustees, replacing Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal, who has been named honorary chairman of the fund.
