UAE President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (MBZ) has several children from his May 1981 marriage to Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Bin Mohammed, daughter of a key figure from the ‘Bani Mohammed’ branch of Abu Dhabi’s ruling Al-Nahyan family. Two of his four sons, Sheikhs Khalid and Theyab (also written Dhiyab/Diab), have risen in prominence over the last decade.
