The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)’s representative in Tehran Nazim Dabbagh has heaped praise on Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp Quds Force commander General Qassem Soleimani. In an interview with the Tehran Times published on 3 January, on the first anniversary of Soleimani’s assassination by US forces in Baghdad, Dabbagh described him as a “brave and wise” battlefield leader and said he had helped Iraqi Kurdistan fight terrorism.
