Sheikh Mansour Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah died on 10 June, aged 79. He was buried after the afternoon prayer on 11 June. Sheikh Mansour was a brother of Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal. He maintained a relatively low public profile, being more involved in business than in politics.
