Newly-appointed heir apparent Sayyid Theyazin Bin Haitham is reportedly engaged to his first cousin, Sayyida Meyyan Bint Shihab. She is involved in the local art and design scene, attending events with foreign artists or celebrating young local artists. In early January she launched her Fragments of Imagination exhibition at the Mall of Muscat, with proceeds going to Al-Rahma Society for Motherhood and Childhood Care.
