The Italian major’s Eni RAK subsidiary on 19 April announced the award of an exploration and production-sharing agreement (Epsa) for Ras Al-Khaimah’s 430 km2 Onshore Block 7. The Epsa was signed by Eni RAK chairman Fuad Krekshi and Ras Al-Khaimah Petroleum Authority chief executive Nishant Dighe, in the presence of RAK Ruler Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al-Qasimi. Eni RAK is operator with a 90% participating interest, while national oil company RAK Gas has a 10% stake.
