Alwaleed Bin Talal: Release from detention

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal gave an odd tour of his lodgings at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, as part of an interview given to the Reuters news agency a few hours before he was released on 27 January. The interview was set up by the government following media reports that the multi-billionaire prince – one of the kingdom’s most prominent royals and its best-known businessmen – had been moved from the hotel to a prison.
