Bahrain: King Hamad visits Abu Dhabi to cement links

Issue 1120 - 18 Feb 2021 | 1 minute read

King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa flew to Al-Dhafra in the UAE on 15 February for what was characterised as a private visit, but which offers further evidence of the increasingly close ties between the two countries. Hamad was met on arrival by the ruler’s representative in Al-Dhafra Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, UAE ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and other senior officials. Joining the king were his sons Sheikhs Nasser and Khalid.
