US secretary of state John Kerry was back in Riyadh for another meeting with King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz on 5 January, his second in just over two months. Kerry, on a regional tour to try to push forward the Middle East peace process, spent three hours with the king, holding talks which foreign minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal said had been excellent. In a news conference with Kerry at King Khalid International Airport, Prince Saud said the meeting had covered all of the subjects that we wanted to or the secretary wanted to cover, from Syria to Lebanon and Yemen, all of the areas the bilateral relations are helping�.
