Kuwait: Protests after Al-Barrak detained

There have been more opposition protests in Kuwait, after prominent opposition figure Musallam Al-Barrak was detained by the authorities for six days. Al-Barrak was summoned by the public prosecutor, who wanted him to be questioned over remarks, made at a 10 July public rally, that accused senior figures of corruption.
