Oman: Higher condensate production

Muscat maintained its crude output last year thanks to a sharp rise in condensate production. Total output for 2018 stood at 357.1m bbls, according to data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information on 5 February. This marked a slight increase on the 354.2m bbls produced a year earlier. Within that, crude oil production fell by 1.6% to 317.5m bbls, while condensate production rose 25% to 39.6m bbl.
