Qatar: Emir Sheikh Tamim’s Sierra Leone talks

Emir Sheikh Tamim held talks with Sierra Leone’s newly elected President Julius Maada Bio in Doha on 22 April. It was Bio’s first trip to the region since winning a run-off vote in early April. The leaders discussed options for enhancing trade and other ties, particularly in agriculture, education, tourism and investment. A day earlier, Bio urged local business leaders at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry to invest in his country.
