Qatar: RasGas drilling


RasGas Company said on 19 August it had completed offshore drilling for 30 development wells for the $10.3bn Barzan Gas Project. The wells, spread over three offshore wellhead platforms, have a total length of around 138km, and reach more than 3,000 metres below the sea. The next phases will see the wells connected to subsea pipelines to take the gas to shore.
