Qatar: Sheikh Sultan Bin Jassim’s Australian gas investment


Doha-based company called Petroserv Ltd has entered the Australian natural gas sector through a 49% equity investment in Brisbane-based Bothar Boring & Tunnelling. The investment will see Petroserv International established in Queensland; the company will focus on oil and gas pipelines, engineering solutions and below-ground infrastructure. Some metal fabrication work will be sub-contracted to Doha’s Petroserv.
