Qatar: Tamim Bin Hamad inaugurates national museum

Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated the strikingly-designed National Museum in Doha on 27 March. Qatar’s allies showed up to mark the occasion, including French prime minister Edouard Philippe, German minister of state for international culture Michelle Muntefering, Omani heritage and culture minister Sayyid Haitham Bin Tariq Al-Said, Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and defence minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and Turkish vice president Fuat Oktay.
