Saudi Arabia: Aramco signs $12.4bn pipeline leasing deal

Saudi Aramco has followed in the footsteps of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) by signing a lease agreement for its crude oil pipeline network. Aramco announced on 10 April that it had signed the agreement with a consortium led by Washington-based EIG Global Energy Partners, providing it with an upfront payment of $12.4bn.
