Saudi Arabia: King Abdullah’s public appearance


Following another string of rumours about the health of King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz Al-Saud, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) published photographs of the king receiving visitors on 29 September. There was significant online traffic in August about the king’s condition, and further questions were asked when he did not appear in public on Saudi Arabia’s national day on 23 September.
