Deputy crown prince Miqrin Bin Abdelaziz Al-Saud visited all Gulf Co-operation Council states except Qatar on 25 and 26 July. Travelling with minister of state Musaid Bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Prince Miqrin, who was appointed second in line to the throne in late March and is King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz’s adviser and special envoy, left Jeddah on the evening of 25 July and headed for Bahrain, where he was met at Al-Sakhir air base by King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, as well as Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa (minister of the royal court) and Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa (minister of foreign affairs).
