Potential normalisation with Israel is another contentious issue for the Saudi leadership, following the warm reception the UAE and Bahrain received in Washington for their normalisation deals with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and King Salman Bin Abdelaziz’s continued resolve to resist any move towards make a deal without greater progress in meeting Palestinian demands.
