Born 1958. The UAE’s first female minster. Economy minister (2004-08), foreign trade (2008-13), international cooperation and development (2013-16) and inaugural minister of state for tolerance (2016-17). President of Zayed University (2014-18). Has a degree in computer science from California State University.
