| 1 minute read
There has been little indication of how Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan is recovering from his stroke (GSN 963/1). State news agency Wam has recently carried a few oblique references to the president – senior family members conveying his greetings at various official events, and foreign dignitaries sending him wishes for a swift recovery – but there has been no official update on his health. Meanwhile, a conservation project for the endangered Houbara bustards he so loves to hunt received a boost, as Qatar provided a breeding centre for 1,065 Asian Houbara.
