Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah returned to Kuwait on 14 November after undergoing what the official Kuwait News Agency called “medical check-ups” in the United States. He was met at the airport by Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and other senior family members. Sheikh Nawaf seems to have stopped off in Rome on his way home, arriving in the Italian capital on 11 November on what was described as a private visit.
