UAE: Condolences over death of MBR’s son

Dubai ruler and UAE vice-president Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) in mid-September received condolences from Gulf dignitaries and the rulers of neighbouring emirates on the sudden death from a heart attack of his eldest son Sheikh Rashid. Rashid was buried on 19 September following a funeral attended by the rulers of Ras Al-Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al-Quwain and Ajman, and by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Rashid’s body was carried by his full brothers, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan and deputy ruler Sheikh Maktoum; their mother is Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al-Maktoum.
