Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) has ordered an enquiry into his equine operations after the seizure at Stansted of a Dubai government plane bringing unlicensed veterinary products into Britain, according to the Guardian newspaper. The shipment – which did not contain any horse doping products – was seized and destroyed by the UK Border Agency in May; a spokesman for the British Horseracing Association told GSN the drugs on board were substances you could buy in the UK, and that the problem was with the brands not being licensed.
