The UAE is to open an embassy in Kiev in 2013. According to the National Radio Company of Ukraine, Ukrainian foreign minister Leonid Kozhara met his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan in New York on 24 September.
