UN gathering a venue for glad-handing

The 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, which runs from 13-23 September, has provided senior Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) royals the opportunity to glad-hand other leaders on the world stage. Most active of them appears to have been Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, who arrived in New York on 17 September, having stopped off in London, where he held talks with prime minister Theresa May.
